Galpin Society

The Galpin Society was formed in October 1946 to further research into the history, construction, development and use of musical instruments (the branch of Francis William Galpin (1858–1945).

The Galpin Society publishes a quarterly newsletter and an annual journal, holds occasional conferences, often in conjunction with the American Musical Instrument Society, and maintains an active website.
