Scott Lake Elementary School founded in 1959 is a primary school located in Miami, Florida.[1] Its current principal as of the 2009-2010 school year is Valerie Ward. This school is also part of the Miami-Dade County Public Schools system. The school's mascot is a Viking and its colors are Khaki & Yellow. The total enrollment as of the 2009-2010 school year is 573 students from grades Pre-Kindergarten to Fifth Grade. Just like so many of the primary schools in Miami-Dade County this school offers ESOL for students that are learning to speak English for the first time.
