2015 World Women's Handball Championship

The 2015 World Women's Handball Championship, the 22nd event hosted by the International Handball Federation, will be held in Denmark. The decision to select Denmark as the host was announced 27 January 2011.[1]

Venues

Venues for the tournament were announced on 7 June 2014. Jyske Bank Boxen in Herning will host the final, both semi-finals, two quarter-finals, matches in the round of 16 and Denmark's group. Tre-For Arena in Kolding will be the venue of two quarter-finals, eighth-finals and neighbour Germany's group if they qualify, while Arena Nord in Frederikshavn and the new venue in Næstved will host one eighth-final and one group each.[2]
