The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan Republic (Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan Republic.

The Chief of the General Staff is appointed by the President of Azerbaijan, who is the supreme commander-in-chief of the armed forces. The current Chief of the General Staff is Colonel General Najmaddin Sadigov.[1]
