History

Olympic Games

Greece men's national water polo team has participated 15 times at the Olympic Games. In 1996 at Atlanta they finished in the 6th place. Their best result was at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, where they took the 4th place after losing 5–6 to Russia in the bronze medal game.

World Championship

In the 2002 FINA Men's Water Polo World League at Patras Greece they finished 4th, in the 2004 FINA Men's Water Polo World League at Long Beach they won the bronze medal and in the 2006 FINA Men's Water Polo World League at Athens they won the bronze medal again.
