Leonid Mikhelson (Russian: Леонид Михельсон; born August 11, 1955 in Kaspiysk) is a Russian businessman, CEO, chairman and major shareholder of the Russian gas company Novatek.[1]

His personal fortune was estimated at US$11.9 billion according to Forbes magazine as of March 2012 (72nd in the world list of billionaires).[2]
