Mārupe Municipality (Mārupe parish the administrative centre being Mārupe.

Riga International Airport is located in the municipality.[3] The Latvian Civil Aviation Agency has its head office at the airport.[4]

AirBaltic has its head office on the airport property.[3] SmartLynx Airlines has its head office in Mārupe.[5][6]
