Qinhuangdao Beidaihe Airport (Chinese: 秦皇岛北戴河机场) is an airport being built in the city of Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province, China. The airport is located in Changli County, 47 kilometers from the city center and 34 kilometers from Beidaihe.[2] It is due to replace the dual-use military and civil Qinhuangdao Shanhaiguan Airport as the main airport serving Qinhuangdao.[3] Construction started in late 2010 with an investment of 850 million yuan and the airport was expected to be open by summer 2013.[2][3]
