Jan Stefan Attefall (born 21 August 1960) is a Swedish politician who has been Minister for Public Administration and Housing since 5 October 2010.[1] A member of the Christian Democrats, he has been an MP of the Swedish Riksdag since 1998. He was previously an MP from 1991 to 1994.[2]

As an incumbent cabinet minister, he is by law prevented to have assignments as an MP and is replaced by Andreas Carlson.

He was chairman of the Financial Committee in the Swedish Riksdag[2] from 2006 to 2010 and parliamentary group leader of the Christian Democrats from 2002 to 2010.
