The USSSA Pride, formerly known as the Washington Glory, are a women's softball team based in Kissimmee, Florida in the United States.[1] The USSSA Pride became a part of the National Pro Fastpitch League (NPF) in 2009. [2] In their first season, the Pride were the runner-up in the NPF Championship.[3] The name is from the United States Specialty Sports Association. The Pride went on to win the Cowles Cup for the NPF Championship in 2010. In 2011 the Pride finished as the runner-up in the NPF Championship for the second time. In 2013 they defeated the Chicago Bandits to win the Cowles cup.
