Volume 6: Black Anvil Ego is the sixth installment of The Desert Sessions, a side project of Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme. The track "Like a Drug" was rerecorded with vocals as a bonus track on the album Lullabies to Paralyze and "Rickshaw" is frequently included in their live set. It was the final release to be a single disc, as both volumes 7 & 8 were coupled into a gatefold double-album release. This album is long out of print, but it remains available on online auction sites such as eBay.
