Description
Written by Mehvish Masood, Anne Fang, Maria Gonzalez, Olivia Meagan Wik, James Fischer with graphic design by Josh Harnack. COVID-19 has been destructive to the lives of many, especially for neurodivergent individuals. This book follows a young man diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and the unseen challenges he has faced both inside and outside of this pandemic. The intent of this book is to emphasize that neurotypical individuals and individuals diagnosed with ASD are more similar than one might think. In writing this book, we hope to show that all people deserve respect and kindness, especially during a pandemic.
