Florovsky’S 'The Boundaries of the Church’ in Dialogue With the Re...

By: By Ph.D. Steven D. Aguzzi

First, I seek to trace a brief history of the concept of catholicity within the Reformed tradition and offer this historical context as an explanation for its resistance to traditional conceptions of the Church. Second, I will show how Georges Florovsky’s work “The Boundaries of the Church,” offers a better point of reference for Orthodox dialogue with Churches of the Reformed Tradition than other Orthodox ecclesiologies, such...

Meditations On the Parables and Miracles of Our Lord Jesus Christ

By: By Keith Wayne Phillips

This book was written over a three year period while in sessions of Adoration before the Most Blessed Sacrament. I first read and then summarized each Parable, or Miracle, and then added some brief comments concerning each one. Presented in an easy to read and orderly format, this book covers sixty-six events listed as either a Parable or a Miracle in my New American Bible (1986). I have written what has come to me while in Adoration. I have made no research, or st...

-The seed, of course is the Word, Jesus Christ, sent by the Father. This seed was sown in each of our hearts –it is part of us-but it can be stolen away by the devil. We can also reject the Word when persecution or hardship comes because of our belief in Jesus. It becomes too much trouble and we can be lured into taking an easier path. -We can also lose our faith and trust in Jesus and begin to think that we must create our own salvation through riches and distractions. ...

Coles Steam Rail 3 Ton Crane Of 1879 : A series of illustrated boo...

By: by Anthony James Kemp

In this series of books we look at a single type of crane, in this case the Rail Steam Crane. We give details of how it was contruncted and some the other types it lead to.

we see some of the original photographs that were taken some time after 1898 when Coles had moved to Derby. They are taken of completed cranes standing outside the works at Slack Lane. They show the diversity of variations on the standard pattern. The close up of the platform showing the operator gives a good idea of just how big some of these cranes could be. By this time they were able to make cranes lifting upto 36 tons.

Dear Lover : a Book of Poetry, the Notebook Collection of Love

By: By Lori Jenessa Nelson

Dear Lover—a poetry collection about hope and heartbreak, about love in its short, long, and temporary forms, about how love can be cloaked in abuse, how love can build us or break us, the hard and soft of it, the good, the bad, and the completely atrocious. The collection is a poetic story of different relationships which are organized into the stages of a relationship; that initial attraction, the circling dance around each other, the honey-moon stage, the souring, ...

Dear Lover, If you are empty I am open a lock is nothing without a key to close it, a saucer needs tea like sugar needs a spoon a model does not both pose and paint think of dissolving sugar, sweetened teas Matcha whisks and sheltering saucers ceramic teapots and crochet coasters a heat that creeps from tea to saucer a warmth spread by a sweetening spoon what is a journey without someone who wanders if sometimes a pair is made of two

An Alternative Us Tax Code

By: By Mick Hoeltzel

Income up to $50,000 per individual is not taxed on the federal level with the exception of the flat fee tax of 0.001. So that $50k of income represents $50 in transaction tax for the transfer to the individual. Any purchases or other financial transactions are also subject to that transaction fee. A voluntary additional transaction fee of another 0.001 would cover the liability for reporting cash transactions. Another component is that income over $50k per individua...

The US tax code is complicated and misleading. The following proposal has a flat tax rate as well as a progressive tax rate. The progressive tax rate is on normal earned income. There is a violation of the double taxation standard in regard to the transaction tax. This is bypassed by considering each financial transaction as conveying an item of worth and each transaction is a single entity. The transaction tax is 0.001 x the total value of the transaction. The vice...
