K is a 45 year old Forensic Law Specialist who holds the law degrees B Iuris & LLB (UOFS) and a Diploma in Police Management. He comes from a family of lawyers and served in the South African Police Force between 1985 and 1991. During his service years he was awarded the South African Police Medal for Combating Terrorism twice besides other lesser rewards. K then studied law for six years and went on to create the first dedicated forensic law office in Africa. Professionally he is the CEO and owner of JKLS Africa, an exclusive Legal Consultancy assisting Corporates in Africa to ensure that they are not scammed, crooked or in any other way done in.
He often speaks on Voice of America regarding forensic legal matters in Africa and clarifies forensic law principles as guest lecturer at post graduate level when asked. His views are provocative since he believes that human rights are taken too far to the detriment of the Victims of crime. This uneven treatment in law is inherently wrong and why forensic law came into being. That is to assist the Victim and level the playing fields which are fair to all.
His favorite pastime is Military History and particularly the American Civil War which he finds much less boring than law.
