Dick : An Avery Dick Adventure Story

By: Avery M Dick

He’s expendable, vulnerable and flat-broke; the ideal candidate for his employer of last resort, the U.S. State Department’s Diplomatic Security Service. But his part-time employment opportunity at McDonald’s is a pretty close runner-up. That’s because retired special agent Avery Dick takes on the dangerous, difficult assignments for his Uncle Sam that others shun because they’re just too damn life threatening and not career enhancing in the slightest. Avery doesn’t have a career anymore and his dissolute lifestyle doesn’t count for much anyway. That’s often the case for those who served and protected their country for many years. Otherwise, his career prospects and personal circumstances are just hunky-dory. But despite his unorthodox investigative style and bumbling mannerisms, Avery’s often called to active duty to solve the tough cases---and maintain plausible denial for the big suits in the State Department....

A Beautiful Disaster

By: Pierre Michel Bruneau

This is a short account of what I saw in New Orleans just a month after hurricane Katrina hit and the work God is doing there. It is what you didn't hear in the news about how the church responded to the disaster and how God has been using it to draw people to himself....

Once we got there I was tired, and I started to lose focus. I started to ask myself the question “why did I even come here? What is the purpose? How will what I’m doing here make any difference? Is this the worst of the damage there is? What am I doing here?” That night the pastor gave a speech that put everything back into focus for me. He talked about the disaster in Indonesia and the work that God is doing there. He talked about how Muslim leaders were telling people not to pay any attention to those Christians that were helping them and how they were saying “what are you talking about, the only people who are helping us are the Christians and the American soldiers.” He talked about how God was working in New Orleans and how he wanted to build “a new, New Orleans.” He talked about how people’s lives were being changed because they realized that they were being helped by Christians. He talked about how people are saying “all my life I thought that Christians were hypocrites, but now I’m starting to think differently.” He told us story after story of conversion and renewal; and he said “I have been praying all my life that one day ...

God's Blueprint of the Holy Bible : Volume 2

By: Felix Wantang

This is not another Christian book in the market; this book is designed for those who truly love Jesus Christ and embrace him as the only way to God’s Paradise in Heaven. If you do not believe in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit collectively known as the Holy Trinity, then I strongly urge you not to open this book. You must truly love Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior to read this book. God, through the Holy Bible has given us everything we need to know about Him, His nature, His creative ingenuity, and His summary divine plan for humanity. The Bible teaches that Salvation is a gift from God to humanity. The Equation of Salvation comes from the supernatural conception, the natural birth, the natural death of Jesus Christ on the cross, and his resurrection. From this equation, what God however did not tell the world is that “Salvation is a gift with a missing component that leaves the equation unbalanced”. It explains why Salvation is also a waiting game directly dependent on the End of the Age. From a supernatural standpoint of God’s Creative Library, the equation of your salvation is absolutely unbalanced without the se...
