Alpha Lambda Zeta (ΑΛΖ) a [1][2]

History

Alpha Lambda Zeta Fraternity, Inc. was founded on January 9, 2006 in [3] The fraternity was founded to provide a non-traditional Greek experience fostered by understanding, acceptance and support for aggressive women who are generally termed as studs, tombois, aggs, and butch in the LGBT community. The fraternity seeks to eliminate barriers between the LGBTQ community and the broader community and to promote social change.

The fraternity operates nationally and has members in more than 10 US states such as Nevada, California, Georgia, Mississippi, Texas, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Ohio, Virginia, and Arizona.

Alpha Lambda Zeta Fraternity, Inc has five principles:

VOICE initiative

VOICE is the national political outreach initiative. Within VOICE the fraternity establishes projects in conjunction with many Pro-GLBT Rights organizations:
