Osborne King, originally Osborne King & Megran, is a commercial property consultancy firm, based in Belfast, UK and private partnership of chartered surveyors in the United Kingdom. It is among the oldest firms of its kind in Ireland, having been founded in 1947.[1] It is known for its public sector work,with contracts in defence, county councils, government offices and educational facilities. The company offers a full range of property services to both public and private sectors and is regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Over the years the firm has had many different name changes, mainly, Osborne King & Megran, J Trevor & Sons, Hamilton Osborne King & Osborne King.

The firm is well known for its excellence of training of Graduates and has an RICS Structured Training Agreement as an RICS Registered Firm. .[2]

Osborne King operate all over the UK specialising in a number of key areas:

General Agency - Sale or letting of vacant industrial or office premises.

Retail Agency - Letting of retail space in high street shopping centres or retail parks.

Asset Recovery - Disposal of bank owned property, typically repossessed, that may be the direct responsibility of Osborne King as Fixed Charge Receiver or through a third party.

Auction - Sale of commercial & residential property through our quarterly auction platform.

Licensed Premises - Sale or letting of a premises licensed for the sale of alcohol, or in addition, the sale of a liquor licence for use at another premises.

Investment - Sale or purchase of income producing property for a private client or institutional investor.

Valuation - Undertaking RICS Red Book property valuations for the purposes of secured lending, accounting purposes or tax planning.

Landlord & Tenant - Undertaking rent reviews, lease renewals and general lease advisory services, on behalf of landlords or tenants.

Rating - Provision of property rating advice on behalf of occupiers of non-domestic property.

Property Management - Acting on behalf of landlords providing a rent collection service, service charge account administration and facilities management service.

Corporate Management - Acting on behalf of tenants in managing their rent and service charge payments in a professional and timely manner.

Energy Consultancy/Statutory Compliance - Provision of Energy Performance Certificates required by law when selling or letting a property. Provision of other statutory compliance surveys, health & safety audits & fire risk assessments.

Public/Private Sector Property Consultancy - Development advisory service relating to Public and Private sector property development with specific experience in the provision of public private partnership agreements.
