President of the Chamber of Deputies of Tunisia

The President of the Chamber of Deputies of Tunisia is the presiding officer of that body. Until the creation of the Chamber of Advisors in 2002, the Chamber of Deputies was the name of Tunisia's unicameral legislature. Now it is one of its two chambers. From 1956 to 1959 it was called the National Constituent Assembly and from 1959 to 1981 the National Assembly.
