Excerpt: The U.S. Government Printing Office announces that customers of the Superintendent of Documents Sales Program may now pay for their purchases with their American Express cards. Joining Visa, MasterCard, and Discover as accepted credit cards, American Express adds a purchasing option that has been often requested, particularly by business customers. Another new convenience for customers is the availability of a toll-free telephone line for ordering. Customers may now call (866) 512-1800 (in DC metro area: 202-512-1800) without charge to order any of the thousands of official U.S. Government publications from all three branches of the Federal Government available from the Superintendent of Documents. Government books can be purchased online at the U.S. Government Online Bookstore. Ordering is secure and easy at the Online Government Bookstore. Customers can search for a specific title or browse through more than 100 topic lists. Customers can also sign up to receive e-mail notices of new publications in selected topic areas.
