Specification for Glass Cleaner. (n.d.). Specification for Glass Cleaner. Retrieved from http://self.gutenberg.org/

Excerpt
Excerpt: General Requirements: The glass cleaner is to be packaged in a pressurized can, which delivers aerosol foam at the touch of a valve. The can is to be of a construction, which allows the user to spray the cleaner onto the glass with the can in an upside down position. Those products, which are sold in containers with a mechanical pumping sprayer, are not acceptable as equal products. The glass cleaner must be a formulation, which leaves no films when wiped clean, and must be fast drying. The propellant itself must be non-flammable and the cans must be capable of being stored for at least a year without losing any noticeable amount of pressure. A defect in the valve, which releases the product, is cause for rejection of a shipment.
