Excerpt: Gloves covered under this specification are general-purpose work gloves used for protection of worker's hands against puncture and abrasion in applications such as handling sheet metal. The gloves shall be liquid repellent, but not necessarily liquid proof. Specific Requirements Construction: Gloves to be vinyl coated, knit lined, with knit wrist. The lining shall be seamless. The coating shall be abrasion and puncture-resistant with a slip-resistant “sandpaper” textured coating. The vinyl coating shall cover the entire glove except the knit wrist. Overall appearance: The coating of the glove shall not feel greasy, tacky, or have an objectionable odor. The size shall be clearly marked on the glove. Size: ...
