Excerpt: The Information Technology for Development Division (ICT) facilitates matching the needs of countries in the area of information technology (IT) for development with the resources and capabilities of the Inter-American Development Bank. As countries attempt to generate synergy to ensure that their diverse IT related activities contribute to achieving development objectives, the IADB is involved in generating internal synergy in order to respond effectively and in a timely manner to a new set of integrated requirements from the Region.
