Excerpt: Author was a Methodist Episcopal minister, born in Jasper County, Indiana. From 1884 to 1890 he served congregations in Indiana. In 1890 he came to Oregon, and was pastor in Albany, Eugene, Ashland, McMinnville, and Portland. He retired in 1919. The sermons are generally undated.
