Description
Keeping our patrons informed with the ongoing changes, we created the World Library Foundation Newsletter. The newsletter includes news and information about our various portals and the wonderful books, articles, encyclopedias, photographs, and research documents that may be found here. For our 4th Issue, June 2017, we would like to share with you some stories about the books you will find on our shelves. We will also be featuring one of our Self-published authors each month. We hope the newsletter will lead readers to discover interesting new books, and inspire readers to re-discover timeless favorites. In addition to this newsletter, we’ve also started producing the Behind the Book Lecture Series (http://www.worldlibrary.org/ExhibitGallery.aspx), to help you further discover inspiring books. When you get a chance check out our Behind the Book Lectures and let us know what you think about our new video series.

Excerpt
Folks are always talking around the water cooler about what will be “the next big thing.” I can tell you what it’s going to be. It is VR gear. There are two different types of VR gear, the Google glasses that brings virtual content information into your current visual environment and one that essentially does the opposite, VR goggles (like Oculus rift or Apple’s new VR), bringing you into a virtual environment. We see these two complementary but opposite VR Gear as the next big revolution in our ability to do advanced scientific research.
