Description
Systematic analysis is a qualitative interdisciplinary method that uses its procedurality and openness to gain systematic results for further use in science. This book displays perspectives from multiple fields of study and generalized papers on practice, guidelines and theory of the method. Authors combined multifaceted perspectives showcase accumulated information on systematic analysis and its applications, with perspectives ranging from philosophy to history, systems science, systematic theology, pedagogics, and information science. Thusly, this book displays decades of methodological progress on systematic analysis and gathers different perspectives under one title for further convenience for the practitioners and developers of this method. Excerpt
The book illuminates the intertwined reasonings of interdisciplinary efforts towards systematic methodology and, to a great extent, development ideas grounded in a similar background, despite differences in areas of science. This holistic effort can be seen for the most part in the vast number of fields of studies that have used and benefitted from these papers. Who would have known that papers from theology and education would be used in the next 20 years for the benefit of systems science and other scientific research in different areas that profit from qualitative systematic approaches? This provides a fine example of the successful interdisciplinary measures employed to seek means and tools without limitations in the field of science.
